More creator than consumer

When the advocates of technologies bringing us a better future put much emphasis on how we must be more creators than consumers, that is, actively using our potential and the new technologies for creating a good future, instead of passively consuming what others create, how do they mean we should do that?

How does humanity become more of a creator than a consumer, when we don’t know what the coming months’ of fundamental changes will bring, and on top of that are tired and even saturated from change?

How do we move from a mindset, which for ages has been shaped by extraction methods, working above our human capacities, using all energy on fitting in, and never having the time for a true clear thought about anything?

Neowe’s answer is unambiguous: We must develop ourselves. We must change our mindsets and open up to our deeper force and power, not in their current meanings, but in the sense of humanity’s innate creative force and power of life.

Old systems thinking

But, in order for this to happen, we need to let go of the old systems ourselves. Nothing can uplift us into this creative mindset if we do not let go of our own old ways of doing and thinking.

Our minds are often stuck in survival mode, where all things need to be in a certain order for us to feel sure that everything will work out well. It is predictable and makes us feel safe. In reality nothing is more wrong now than to lean into this old way of living and being, where everything must be what it used to, and even though letting it go will feel counterintuitive and make us tremble and fear for our future, opening up to what happens below this surface of survival is what really sets us free.

In here lies our true selves, our unique, creative, empathic, loving and caring core, from which we can live a truly abundant life.

“…we can live a truly abundant life.”

By making this move, we are crawling out of the biggest prison of humanity, namely in our minds. Here we are becoming able to live freely and creatively with whatever new kind of tech that turns up, open to new possibilities, like humanity has always been in times of change, this time though on a seemingly exponential scale.

“…we are crawling out of the biggest prison of humanity…”

What to create

Every human being has the capability to create. What we create is different for each one of us, also under what circumstances, in what form etc., but that is just what makes each individual’s creation unique.

Creating can be writing, painting, playing music, yes, but it can also be developing and shaping your own unique form of SoMe presence, or a leadership style that is utterly true to your qualities, or a new way of architecting cities for a more aesthetic future, if that is where your true desire is hidden. Your answer lies in there, behind the surface, and it is only waiting to get your attention.

Why becoming a creator is the future’s true abundance

On a long-term perspective this move will not only align us with a new found freedom from work and office/other slavery, but also give us the opportunity to thrive, to be more satisfied and happy in a very simple yet fulfilling way. Nothing less and in a way that we can’t consume ourselves into by purchasing this or that. Excessive consumption is often just a noisy, sedative soul bandaid, while the creator mode gives access to the exact depth, intensity and force that we most often long deeply for.

There is even a higher level than creator mode, namely a mode of wisdom and connection on a deeper level. This is where your métier gets really upleveled.

It sounds big, but can begin small.

Begin with this small mental clarity investigation:

  • What do you do, when you are mostly in tune with yourself and who you are?
  • What is it you do as the most natural thing in the world, without much effort and which actually lights you up inside?
  • What is going on, where are you, how do you move?

Do you also feel the sense of freedom and fulfillment that comes with this?

This is the place humanity is capable of living from in the near future, not only facilitated by technology, but also by stepping into it ourselves.

With the Neowe Compass we begin by integrating this powerful connection with your profession and experience. Stay tuned for Neowe’s workbook on how to open up to your creatorship being published.
